Community landscape with The Bluffs text

The Bluffs section of Crystal Falls has many names, which can confuse new residents. Legally known as "The Bluffs," it is sometimes referred to as The Highlands TM Section (for builder-developer Taylor Morrison). But it's more commonly known by residents as "the back of The Highlands."

The beginning boundary of The Bluffs on Osage Drive is most notably marked by the landscaped roundabout and waterwheel that's about a half-mile into The Highlands. The Bluffs features a walking trail to the Southeast and the first of several greenbelts to the northwest. Incorporated into The Bluffs are five subsections—Crystal Cove, Mesa Oaks, Grand View, The Plateau, Canyon Bend, and The Overlook—before reaching the intersecting boundary of Crystal Falls and Travisso just beyond Painted Sky Bend.

The Bluffs is unique as it is the only section not developed by the original developer, The Lookout Group. Taylor Morrison is the sole builder of the majority of The Bluffs, with the exception of 29 lots built out by Trendmaker Homes in the 80' subsections of Grand View & The Overlook.

Features: The Bluffs are home to several crushed granite walking trails with entrances throughout the Crystal Cove sections of the neighborhood. These walking trails provide access to Knowles Elementary / Running Brushy MS and also provide walking access to Veteran's Memorial Park, Pool and Dog Park.  Several greenbelt areas, and homes with both greenbelt and canyon views.
